![]() Jiggle Peeking The purpose of Jiggle Peeking is to help set you up for short peeking or wide peeking. Hold down crouch, jump, and then let go of the crouch key. How To: Silent Jump Peek Position yourself behind cover that is head height when standing. ![]() Your momentum will allow you to see the angle and when you do, hold down your s key and the directional key that will allow you to go back safely under cover. Hold w towards the corner and as you approach the corner, jump, and let your momentum carry you forward. How To: Jump Peek Approach a corner at an angle. There are two different types of Jump Peeking: the first is the standard Jump Peek, and the second is the Silent Jump Peek. As such, Jump Peeking is the most effective way to bait out OP shots. This peek allows you to obtain information without committing to an angle while also remaining a difficult target to hit. Jump Peeking The purpose of Jump Peeking is to provide information on an angle or to bait the enemy. The illustration below provides a visual representation of angle advantages. This is because of how angle advantages work:when you’re closer to an angle, the more of your body is exposed and the less you see. Positioning When peeking an angle, always take the fight from as far away as possible. ![]() That brief moment of perfect accuracy is enough to get up to 2-3 bullets off and as such, is extremely important to getting peeks off while minimizing your enemies' chances of fighting back. Strafe shooting is when you move side to side and shoot the moment you change directions, thus making your accuracy perfect. This is because when you run for short distances, you are still silent, however, if you walk, you make yourself an easier target to hit.Īnother crucial part of peeking an angle and movement is learning how to strafe-shoot. Furthermore, when you are executing your peek you never want to touch the walk key. Never use the w key in combination with a and d when you do this, you move slower than just using your a and d key, making you an easier target to hit. Movement When peeking an angle, only use your a and d key. If enemies aren’t there, then you move to the next wall of the corner you are exposed to. ![]() This is so that if enemies are playing at the angle, there are fewer mouse movements that you have to make. Trace peeking is when you place your crosshair at head level alongside the walls of the corners of the map. Tracing Angles Because players are unable to jiggle-peek and pre-aim every single angle in the game because of the amount of time it would take to clear angles, it’s important to learn how to trace peek angles. Having good crosshair placement will allow you to pre-aim much better. This allows you to make minimal crosshair adjustments when you peek as the only adjustments you will have to make is if they’re playing off the common angle. Pre-Aiming Angles When peeking a common angle, always pre-aim the angle through the wall. Low ping is better for virtually everything else in the game. Although this advantage is more noticeable when the peeker is on a much higher ping (140+), this doesn’t mean that having a low ping is bad. Peekers Advantage Peeker’s advantage is the advantage that the peeker has against someone that is holding an angle.
